Roma wants to keep strong players despite the need for transfers
Gian Piero Gasperini has made it clear that Roma should not sell the core of the team. However, the club needs money quickly and is therefore selling a number of less important players. The transfers of Sangare, Abdulhamid and Shomurodov already yielded 10.8 million euros. Baldanzi is also facing a departure towards Genoa. Salah-Eddine's transfer to PSV appears to have fallen through, meaning Roma may now be able to ask for more given his recent performances.
