Feyi-Waboso gambles with England's chances for return to Exeter
Immanuel Feyi-Waboso kicked off Exeter's Premiership final against Northampton on Saturday, just three weeks after undergoing jaw surgery. Despite the risk of another injury, he chose to play, potentially risking his chance of international caps with England. Feyi-Waboso indicated that the importance of a final outweighed the risk for him: "You just go for a match like that." His efforts ultimately did not yield a cup; Exeter lost 26-17. More importantly, his jaw held up, meaning his selection for the upcoming England international matches against South Africa, Fiji and Argentina is not in jeopardy.
