Serie B 2026/2027: Overview of coaching positions, Sampdoria chooses Corradi
The 2026/2027 Serie B has a full field of participants and most clubs have their technical staff in order. Sampdoria has chosen Bernardo Corradi as its new head coach, while other teams are partly focusing on continuity or new faces at the helm.
With the final field of participants for the 2026/2027 Serie B established, the twenty clubs are focusing on the appointment of trainers who will lead them to success. Decisions have now been made on almost all club seats, ranging from confirmations of current trainers to the recruitment of new faces. The appointment of Bernardo Corradi is particularly eye-catching at Sampdoria: he will be given the opportunity to set a new course for the club.
At Arezzo, Cristian Bucchi remains as trainer, while Ascoli relies on Francesco Tomei. Avellino announces the arrival of Alessandro Nesta as the new head coach. Antonio Floro Flores can stay longer at Benevento, while Gabriele Cioffi makes a fresh start at Carrarese.
Catanzaro and Cesena are both on the verge of signing Marco Turati and Alessandro Diamanti, with the bulk of the evidence in their favor. Cremonese confirms Marco Giampaolo and at Empoli the choice is still open between Andreoletti, Troise and Coppitelli. Hellas Verona is entering a new phase with Marco Baroni. Juve Stabia will soon make the decision between De Giorgio, Stellone or another option.
Francesco Modesto stays with Mantova and Daniele Galloppa is trusted with Modena. Antonio Calabro takes over at Padova, while Filippo Inzaghi is confirmed in Palermo. Pisa also has a new trainer in Paolo Bianco, just like Sudtirol, which opts for Davide Possanzini. Fabio Gallo (Vicenza) and Andrea Chiappella (Virtus Entella) are also assured of their place for the new season.
With these decisions, the clubs are ready for the start of the competition, where both established names and new trainers want to make a difference.
