Real Madrid adjusts transfer plans while Gonzalo Garcia remains hopeful of staying

Real Madrid has already completed four summer transfers, but the club is far from finished at the Bernabeu. However, the club's sporting department has decided to scale back some of their transfer plans for the upcoming period.

However, sources report that Real Madrid and coach José Mourinho have decided that the appointment of a new striker is not a priority at the moment, so plans for this have been halted for the time being. This also means that a Gonzalo departure is not on the cards as he remains to compete with stars such as Kylian Mbappe and Endrick Felipe.

Despite this situation, Gonzalo could still leave even if Real Madrid don't recruit a new number nine. The 22-year-old has been told that Mourinho will not hold him back if he decides to leave, knowing his playing time will be limited next season due to the presence of Mbappe and Endrick. He has time to make his decision, but if he decides to leave it will mean a replacement is needed in addition to the club's other transfer plans. If Gonzalo leaves, Real Madrid would consider including a buy-back and sell-on clause in any deal as they view him as a player who can make a big impact at the Bernabeu in the future.
