While the Netherlands kept pace with Japan on Sunday evening (2-2), Sweden recorded a convincing victory over the North Africans. With a 5-1 win, the team of national coach Graham Potter proudly takes the lead in Group F. More than 1.8 million night owls witnessed Sweden's resounding victory, according to figures from the channel SVT1. The match didn't start until 4 a.m., but that didn't stop them from cheering on the national team in front of the TV. And that while many supporters gathered to watch the match together. Sweden has approximately eleven million inhabitants, which means that one in five people has watched TV. In the Netherlands, 4.2 million people watched the draw against Japan. The second group match is scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m., in which the Dutch team will face Sweden in Houston.
