Eleanor Heeps exchanges Tottenham Hotspur for Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton & Hove Albion has strengthened itself with goalkeeper Eleanor Heeps, who makes a permanent transfer from Tottenham Hotspur. The English goalkeeper hopes for more playing time under the leadership of coach Dario Vidošić.
Brighton & Hove Albion have officially announced the arrival of goalkeeper Eleanor Heeps. The 22-year-old goalkeeper comes over from Tottenham Hotspur, where she has been under contract for the past four years. During her time at Spurs, Heeps made four appearances for the first team and served as a competitor under the bar in North London.
In addition to her time at Tottenham Hotspur, Heeps has gained experience during loan spells at Blackburn Rovers, Coventry United and Sheffield United. Internationally, she has represented England in various youth selections, which has enhanced her development as a goalkeeper.
At her new club Brighton & Hove Albion, people see a lot of potential in Heeps. It is the third reinforcement of the English club in this transfer period. Trainer Dario Vidošić says he is happy with her arrival: "I would like to welcome Eleanor to the club and look forward to seeing her added value as extra competition under the bar. With her experience at different levels, we hope that she will soon find her place in the team."
Heeps will hope for more playing minutes and further development in her young career at Brighton & Hove Albion.
