Discussion around Alexander-Arnold flares up after Reece James injury: Tuchel remains with his choice
After the injury of right back Reece James, the call to add Trent Alexander-Arnold to the England World Cup squad is becoming louder. However, national coach Thomas Tuchel rejects this suggestion and remains confident in his current selection, despite criticism from the English media.

To questions about Alexander-Arnold and Cole Palmer missing out after the draw against Ghana, he responded firmly: 'I will not comment on this after a draw. Spain, Brazil and Portugal also drew. We must maintain confidence in our selection and not underestimate Ghana after their change of manager.'
England close the group stage against Panama on Saturday. In the other match in Group L, Croatia and Ghana will face each other. The pressure on Tuchel and his choices is great, but so far he shows no doubts about his selection decision.
