Bournemouth are targeting defenders from Serie A: Lucumi from Bologna is at the top of the list
Bournemouth are active in the transfer market and have their eyes on central defenders from Serie A. Jhon Lucumi of Bologna is currently the main candidate, followed by Evan N'Dicka of AS Roma and Tarik Muharemovic of Sassuolo.
Bournemouth, which is active in the English Premier League, is looking for a central defender with experience at the highest level this summer. According to reports from Italy, cited by Corriere dello Sport, the club is clearly looking towards Serie A for reinforcements.
Jhon Lucumi (27) from Bologna is currently the main candidate for a transfer to Bournemouth. The Colombian defender impressed in the Italian competition last season and is therefore high on the English club's wish list.
In addition to Lucumi, Bournemouth is also looking at the situation of Evan N'Dicka (26) of AS Roma. However, his high salary is currently a stumbling block in transfer negotiations. A third option is Tarik Muharemovic (23) from Sassuolo, who is also active in Serie A, but seems to be further away from the other two.
With these names on the radar, Bournemouth is trying to give its defense a qualitative boost for the coming season in the Premier League. The club hopes to sign a new central defender before the transfer market closes.
