Bayern Munich rules out negotiations with Real Madrid for Michael Olise

Real Madrid is looking for a new Galactico and sees the fast Michael Olise of Bayern Munich as the ideal option for president Florentino Pérez. Despite reports that there have been talks between the French player and the club, Los Blancos have released an official statement denying any contact. At the same time, the Spaniards do not deny that they are interested in the 24-year-old attacker.

According to Spanish reports, Real Madrid are considering a club record bid of more than 200 million euros for Olise. However, according to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have no plans to open negotiations with Real Madrid for the French speedster. Instead, the record Bundesliga champions are working behind the scenes on a new contract for their star striker, whose current deal runs until the summer of 2029.


The aim is to make Olise one of the club's highest-paid players to convince him to stay at the Allianz Arena amid growing interest from Madrid. Previous reports indicated that the Bavarian giants are planning to offer the 24-year-old winger a staggering salary of €25 million per year to deter interested parties such as Los Blancos.

Following Real Madrid's statement about the lack of contact with Olise, the player's entourage also contacted Bayern Munich to confirm the same. Indeed, the 24-year-old's management has informed the German champions that no talks, meetings or negotiations with Real Madrid have taken place so far. This is likely to further strengthen Bayern Munich's determination to retain the winger, who enjoyed an exceptional 2025/26 season at the club. In 52 games in all competitions, Olise scored 22 goals and provided 31 assists. He is also currently performing well with France at the 2026 World Cup. If he helps Les Bleus win the title, a Ballon d'Or nomination is certainly not unthinkable, which would encourage Bayern Munich to take an even firmer stance to retain their winger.
