Jari Vlak, the captain of ADO Den Haag, has aroused the interest of CD Castellón. The Spanish club has officially registered and Vlak is keen on a transfer. The midfielder has paused his contract negotiations with ADO and hopes for cooperation from his current club to make the transfer possible.

ADO Den Haag seemed to keep its selection largely intact at the start of the preparation for the new season, but there is increasing interest in various players from the PhD candidate. Vlak, who played an important role in the promotion last season, can extend his contract, but has deliberately stopped these talks. Castellón's interest is his reason to wait and see.
According to sources, there has already been an agreement between Vlak and the Spanish club on the personal conditions, which means that a deal can be completed quickly if ADO cooperates. The captain has indicated internally that he would like to leave for Spain and is now waiting to see what the club management decides.
There is also unrest around other ADO players. Union Sint-Gillis has now made several bids for defender Milan Hokke, who would also like to make a transfer. Technical director Mark Wotte is therefore busy managing the interest in his core of players.
